LaTia Thomas

LaTia Thomas is a trained Social Worker who has been working in the St. Louis non-profit sector for the past eight years. Ze has done everything from planting seeds in Ferguson to aiding leadership development throughout the region. Throughout it all food and community have been her jam…she also makes tasty jam! Lifting up voices, especially those that often go unheard, applying a social justice and anti-racisit lens, and empowering community are guiding forces for her. Ze wants to make sure that the work she does will continually help the city she loves to flourish and evolve. The ultimate goal being to aid in radically reimagining our current systems and help create an equitable, just, and joyous global community. It also must be noted she is a big ole nerd and can be found playing DnD, buying way too many books (no such thing), and geeking out about all things space.
